It's a complete joke. The shadows are across the course and don't affect a single hurdle for the last. They should be investigated by the BHA.

Do the 'Speed Ratings' aficionados add some seconds onto the overall time -
- to compensate for the Fences and Hurdles not jumped? Bet they do NOT - Bet most, or even none, of them have ever thought of that, either. ![]() It would still only be YET another GUESS, though - - precisely the same GUESS as, what can only be the MANUALLY CREATED 'mystical' OPINION, that is then PERCEIVED to be Going Allowance - along with that other GUESS as to the affect of re-aligned Rails Movements. |

Mordin recommended, I think, +0.4s per hurdle. I asked our own aficionado about this recently but unfortunately the reply was somewhat unintelligible.

Mouse,it's lot more than 0.4s per hurdle.

It's 0.7s. He didn't give a figure for fences because he only mentions it in connection with deriving standard times for bumpers from those for 2m hurdles.

It's a lot more than 0.7s as well. 1.5 - 2 secs is closer to the mark.
