plenty footy fans on here mate
to answer your question after watching 3 average games today - last one has been most entertaining and that aint saying much - it wud appear that no one seems to wanna win it but will no doubt end up being one of the original favs - wud go for Spain or France at this stage |
|
By:
I thought Spain too after their first match but a struggle to beat Iran tonight. I know that when a team sticks 11 players behind the ball it`s hard to break them down, but after they wen`t 1-0 up and Iran came out, they still struggled. Never write off the Germans. Last match was too bad to be true.

I agree 100%. England were brilliant first 15 minutes but they were poor second half. I bet France at start but they were poor too, but they can only improve.

If Peru could stick their chances away they would be a lively outsider, but they still have to play France, that puts me off but I`ve had a little on at over 500.

normally I am very anti-england in these sort of competitions but the established names are so awful this time that I feel they have a genuine chance
or I hope they have a genuine chance, anyway I've backed them. obviously there is part of it where heart is ruling head |

Watched every minute too. I backed Portugal at 35 pre-tournament and haven’t seen a team that I’d swap them for. They’re hard to beat and have a great team spirit, as witnessed by their 2016 Euros victory. Russia have been surprisingly good too although they’ve played two gash teams and sterner tests lie ahead. Currently 48 on here and could be a decent trade.

i thort me mate was p1ssed last night when he said "it was coming home" but stranger things hav happened i suppose - still cant see it mind cos it was only Tunisia after all - Brazil bang av first game Argies worse - France terrible as well and Iran showed enough against Spain when they had a go to suggest that they cud cause Portugal a few probs in a must win game

Plenty of teams who win the world cup start slow so wouldn't be reading too much into the performances, as long as they are getting the results. I wouldn't want my team to be peaking too soon.

im worried about the slow play of South American teams - seem to play at same pace where there is no air/or its too fcuking hot - only team to win from that continent in Europe/elsewhere was 58 wiv a young Pele - 94 in USA was red hot as was South Korea 2002 and whilst its warm its not red hot - comp needs to kick on from here cos been bang average so far

Although they lost their first game, it's Germany for me!
Sadly, I've backed them at an average price of Germany 7.05 £195.00 £1,180.25 and they are currently 9.8! ![]() Win their next two games and I'm back in the game! ![]() |

Still think Brazil have the best team...whether they actually play it is another question.
Other than that I can think of worse bets that few quid on Peru at 500+ with the hope they beat France and Australia and then you can trade. They got mugged vs Denmark and on another day would’ve walked away 4 or 5 nil winners. They did everything but put the ball in the back of the net. France need to bring their game when they play them. I have a feeling Peru could play even better in this game ie against a side that will come at then and not like Denmark with everyone behind the ball. And then there’s Russia. Funny how they only tine VAR came into play for them is when they 3 nil up and through to the 2nd round. Putin knows...they could easily get to the final with VAR in their corner. South Korea almost did it but they didn’t have Putin or VAR. |

I backed Switzerland @ 170 as a fiver fun bet. Should make a good trade if they can get out from the group and win their next game.
