Standard terms would be 1/4 odds 4 places for 16+ runner handicap?  Paying 1/5 odds on 5 surely costs the bookie about the same?  Where's the robbery?

no lobgbridge i have bookies chain beside me and they pay 1/4 everyrace all year and do up to 5th and 6th

Personally - other than fun bets on course when I'm having a racing day out - bet win/place on here rather than having EW bets.
