Not allowed to bet because he once had a 50p win bet at 1/10 which won and got banned by every single bookie in the country!

He's entitled to have his fun fiver on with any of the on course agents.

If you mean on religious grounds then I'd be very surprised if there were any muslamic agents at Ascot to enforce that sort of thing, and if there were then Sheikh Mo's men would sort them out.

I don't ascribe beliefs to anyone. If a person states they are a follower of a religion, it is not unreasonable to assume they might follow its beliefs. I am an Epicurian, I believe in it and follow it. That's why I can spend all day leching, drinking, gambling if I want to. I believe in that!
