I once nearly had a heifer jump on me, scared by the gate it was enclosed behind, jumping it in fright. I used to think I'd be quick enough to escape the danger incumbent, even with speeding cars in straight aim, but that was enough to remind me how quick I wasn't, even against an animal that meant me no harm.
