I'm afraid that I've walked into one here. I backed Magellan at 5.8 on the exchange this morning when it was between 3/1 and 7/2 on the book. I must admit that at 4.30am UK time, when every 20 pounds I put up was laid, I wondered whether it was a stable lad laying it and since it's been knocked out to 9/1 I'm convinced of it!

I'm not suggesting that it's not trying, just that either it isn't ready 1st time up or that they wont give it a hard race on this ground. Either way, it ain't going to win at 9's!
