broke the 5f track record by 1/3 of a second at Musselburgh yesterday carrying 9-10. if it had carried 8-0, how much faster would it have gone?

Better ask Mart about that hes the speed ratings expert , especially when the race has finished.

In all seriousness probably the question would be best put to Simon Rowlands via his twitter account or ask on antepost as 1or 2 speed ratings officiaanados on there.

the last time this horse ran on Good/Firm ground, it beat none other that Marsha who'd won The Abbeye a few runs back,

It seems as if the RP are taking Red Baron's 2016 win (57.10) as the old course record, but Linda Perratt's 64-rated Xanadu clocked a faster time (57.01) in June 2000, and Alan Berry's 74-rated 3yo maiden Corunna wasn't far behind the same day (57.27) when getting off the mark at the 13th attempt.
