5:45 Beverley Knockout Blow @ 6.0

Looks to have stalled and was struggling over 5 and 6f trips before upped to 7f last time at Leafy. Held up off the pace but had a wide trip and never in the picture until running on late to take 6th spot.A hunch today the Beverley air can revive this ones fortunes over a CD where the trainer has excelled with similar types.

gl all today

Striding,

My best back bet would be Reverand Jacobs in the 1.55, but we're probably all on that one, and it's 1.67 anyway (i backed at 1.7 earlier).

At a better price, Blue de Vega 3.25 Haydock EW @ 15. Ran about 20 yards more than the rest of the field LTO (all over the place) and still finished like a train to be 4th.

Good luck.

The thread states back bet, but a lay is a back - going with the field against one other.

In this context, i think laying Justify at Belmont tonight is a very good back bet.

STATS it's more an MJ type at Beverley that's been ahead of the market.

GL Andrew said after last week thought BDV could be an Ascot type, ie big field and strong pace.

Striding,

Correct, i remember you posting it (i was on BDV) and it may prefer another furlong, but at 15's it's not a bad EW bet

Aclimatise 5.25 newm. The extra 2f should suit this horse today.
