Wilie,
I have a good few K in my account, but would i back Fury at 1.03 with all of it ? Maybe not, but i could be tempted to at 1.04 for a quick return (less commission). There's a lot on the back side, so who knows, maybe 1.05 is available later ![]() This fight has been cherry picked for him, he's almost 5 stone heavier that the midget he's up against (who's really a cruiserwieght) and close to a certainty. The only negative (minor) is how much has the weight loss caused by living on junk food affected TF. |

James Dean sez is this an official tip?
|

is 1/100 at the bookies better or 1.03 with pc comish

I seem to remember one of Willie's other personalities say something similar about a novice hurdler a few years back (at Plumpton?) who got beat (didn't fall).
Obviously Tyson will probably win but if Timeform were doing the rating for boxing he might have a little sqiggle on his rating. |

Amazing with the advent of improved education that so many people struggle to differentiate between a question and a tip.
|
|
By:
I just keep getting Flashbacks to the David Haye fight though, what prices was he (both times)?
|
|
By:
cork langer
it is a question but then it sorta qualifies as a tip when comparing it to the interest rate ![]() |
|
By:
Correct tyred.
It's amazing with the advent of improved education that so many people struggle to understand this. |
|
By:
By the way, no expert on boxing but surely the 1/8 on Fury by ko tko or dq is also some value?
Surely Seferi can't go 10 rounds with that beast of a man |
|
By:
I agree with JD and didn't even think of it before
|

By:
tyred/jamesdean,
you see what you want to see like so many on here, and so often it is a tip people are looking for, whether it be a back or lay when they log on, if shafter had worded it differently then you may have had a point, but he has covered himself and this is definitely a question and we can be sure he won't be bigging it up should Fury be successful...! |

Mouse,
I've never bet 1.01 in my life, but i would have bet everything on that one ![]() I'm surprised anyone would want to lay it, even at the odds. |

Judging by the weigh in yesterday this event has the look of a pantomime about it, you cannot take a serious view about an event that won't be serious, and I mean that most seriously ...

By:
That's the only one I've ever done, Andrew. Unlike in a horse race there was absolutely no need to assess the strength of the opposition, the selection had taken care of them for me.

I think your money’s safe if you’re lumping on Willie. On the face of it Seferi looks to have a decent record but scratch the surface and he’s only faced one boxer of note in Manuel Charr and got beat by him. At age 39 and only having 24 fights in 11 years he hardly seems dedicated to the game either. Add to that over two thirds of his opponents have losing records it should be an easy nights work for Fury. I’d expect him to have a fair bit of ring rust after 2 years out but he’ll use the jab and just mess Seferi about when he tries to get inside and lean on him.
Looking at him at the weigh in though he’s still got a fair way to go before he’s ready to fight the likes of AJ or Wilder |

I do

MTK on his case if this lad does a Buster Douglas

At least Douglas had beaten a couple of decent fighters prior to fighting Tyson but he was expected to get bombed out quickly. I actually had money on Holyfield to beat Tyson but the fight got cancelled and he fought Buster instead

Seriousley though,a massive amount depends on how well TF has trained and how well his mental state is . Who was the fella who had a breakdown in the ring ? Frank Bruno beat for the world title......his name escapes me but sure he was long odds on and burst into tears in the ring and wouldnt fight.
