on any forum,( including this one), turn into something that is unpleasant or unwanted/and maybe illegal/job threatening?..........p.s. I am in no way a member of the pc brigade, just think the boundaries need clarifying in general, in order to protect ourselves. I recall reading a recent post from someone on here who said that a fireman with 20 years service had been (suspended/sacked?) for speaking out in defense of Tommy Robinson. If that is true then that is an issue to be looked at/and the details examined for example......for the good of all......

Glasgow........think that is a case of the cart before the horse!!.......look at the 1st response as a typical example of what the thread is about.....then think a while before typing in future.....I normally use flies when fishing for example,they only catches the brighter ones, but all fish will jump on the hook for a maggot!! p.s. I don't use that kind of language mouse.........or find an example to contradict if you can. BTW.......fishing was only an analogy prompted by a response that most would perceive to be a threat. Anyone care to translate "Do let me know when it turns into something unpleasant etc" ?

When someone tries to deflect from the point using abuse and then fire is met with fire. Proper debate can easily be shut down using this tactic if you don't see it coming. |
