the normal thing to say here is riding the 11/8 shots is a big help but when you've adequately accounted for opportunity SDS is still a big overachiever

Gurkha Friend is extremely tough when in front and stays further,Frank Bridge got a good ride and had every chance,Dawaaleeb was never going quick enough to take the gap and became unbalanced (common at Ripon) no fault of the jockey and De Sousa becoming quickly overrated it seems.imo of course

I'm not quite sure the OP's message make sense if one jockey is supposed to hang his head in shame when beaten by another jockey that the OP states is the best.
Surely the hang your head in shame part should only apply if beaten by a rubbish jockey? |
