they've been trying to offload him for years but he has proved stickier than people his junior & with lower salaries than him
Report differentdrum June 6, 2018 4:26 PM BST
Will anyone notice any difference?

All we have seen him doing is hanging on the coat tails of the likes of JP. Presumably, that will just continue.

Not sure how he climbed the ranks but it is hard to believe that he has doing what most people would term real work for a long time.

Any gagging clause, I wonder? I thought he'd left as he'd been very inconspicuous and quiet for a long while.

Can someone explain how he 'saved' the Grand National. It sounds quite a sweeping claim. Presumably, something beyond just saying 'wouldn't it be a good idea if Ladbrokes backed the Grand National'?
Report mouse muldoon June 6, 2018 6:45 PM BST
He co-led the bomb disposal team in 1997 with bigmart

I am sure Neal had a good life, he loved to dine at the Waterside Inn at Bray where he lived.

He also had 2 other passion that I know off, large Havana cigars and Arsenal football club where he was season ticket holder.

When Neal passed away Charlie George was at his bedside, I'm told they were very good friends.

I thought that Geoff but he says he isn't retiring and is looking for consultancy work. He must have a few quid, the pension will be worth plenty, why not just sit back and enjoy life instead of grafting when he's in his mid 60s
Report Kerrygold June 14, 2018 8:00 AM BST
dont understand how anyone works up past 60 , total joke -you cant spend it or enjoy money when u get to that age , plus your health can go v quickly once u hit 60. my father got v ill in his 60's God rest his soul ...he worked all his life.

i hope to retire in my mid 40's...whats the point if u cannot relax and spend money
Report sparrow June 14, 2018 8:41 AM BST
I retired at 60 and don't regret it at all but I know a few other people my age who couldn't bear the thought of retirement and will continue to work for as long as possible.
