Stewart,
I'm off work today (Sweden National Day) and after reading your thread was curious due to the 23.50 post and form figues of 15475, so i looked at a few videos. Pass Hymm is a CD winner (on good going) so that's a positive as Wexford is a very sharp track that may not suit some who could be running for the 'future' . His form is actually better than the 'figures' may suggest at first glance, his run LTO probably the best single line of form in the race. He led there (may do here due to nature of the track) and only tired a little on the run-in, but stayed on well. Not many negatives, but Cork makes a valid point, and he did regress each time in his 3 races after winning. Is he a horse that only runs well when fresh ? He was keen in his September/October runs last year, although appeared to run OK LTO. Trainer form is dire and a ? but wouldn't always necessarily put me off. Has to give 8 lbs to his main rivals, the best of which is obviously Arahecan who ran well LTO (in context of this race) and could vie for favourtism later. His trainer has a good recent strike rate. I can't see many getting into this and they could finish strung out. Maidens of any type, NH or flat are not the best betting races as we all know. I wouldn't lay Pass Hymm, he should be fit and could get an easy lead, but i'm not so sure i would want to back him either, certainly not with 3 figures, and Arahecan won't be far away in my opinion. Good luck if you play, hope it wins for you ![]() |
