it's a poor race but its no odds on chance i.m.o the form has been let down in it last two runs rip off tailed off on Saturday, Alexandrakollontai down to 72 since the second to pouvoir 7/4 shot in my book.

Ripp Orf wasn't tailed off at Epsom on Saturday - it finished 9th of 14 on Friday, beaten 6 lengths, despite clipping heels coming down the hill and nearly falling. Was tailed off in last turning in, but ran on despite Hayley Turner making no effort to get back in the race.
More to the point, Zwayyan, who was fourth to Pouvoir Magique at Newbury, beaten 6 lengths, went on to finish second to the favourite at Nottingham, beaten just 2 lengths off a mark only a pound lower than at Newbury.
I don't think you can judge Pouvoir Magique on its win here last season, other than to say it proves it acts on the C&D. It's a 4yo that looks like its improved plenty since then.
No way am I laying the horse tomorrow. Prost might be the thieving each way bet, if you can get on - another 4yo C&D winner, and its second last time out looks solid, but without the potential of Pouvoir Magique's win.
Then again, it's a straight mile on the AW at Newcastle. No result would surprise me.

While Simon M have been saying he liked this one and that one, and the fav looked a stand out in the paddock, Simon H gave us the crucial info just before the off, the horse pulled like a mustang on the way to the start. It was at that point that I bailed out!

There's very little value betting at front end of market, prices are easier for books to price up anyone betting short prices over a large volume of bets has virtually next to no chance of winning or if they do their ROI will be miniscule..

POUVOIR MAGIQUE, ridden by Jason Doyle, ran keenly to post. The gelding was checked by a Veterinary Surgeon at the start and was deemed fit to run.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing revealed POUVOIR MAGIQUE (FR), unplaced, had finished lame on its right fore.
