Cork Langer. After Saturdays good win I had a bigger than usual bet spread around four bookies. Only problem was the Betfair part where I took 4.6.
I was surprised that as a horse with supposed potential they did not send Doyle or Buick up to ride it when they each only have one ride at Windsor tonight in a race I thought Queen of Bermuda was the likely winner. Strange on my way home to watch the race I was speaking to a lady from Cork. |

Does Egan ride out for them Oldgit?
I remember a Godolphin policy a while back where alot of mounts were allocated to which jockey was riding them in work. |

Eerie coincidence oldgit, hope she wasn't trying to sell you some lucky heather or to cross her palm with silver...!
Enjoy your winnings. |

Cork Langer. No she seems to have a few bob as she is on holiday at a decent hotel near us and at one time used to fly to NYC on Concorde.
Nearest I got to Concorde was when I worked for Ferranti and we made the guidance system. Later when I worked in Surrey it often used to pass overhead as I was leaving work. |

^ Did the Pilot shout down to you - oldgit - to ask how to work the Guidance System ?

Yeah, practically every night and again when we were in Barbados. I should have gone to see the retired one they now have at the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune but never got round it. |
