Sorry to see you leave, but totally understand the reasoning. I'm not going to disect or comment about the negative posts, but you did at least post an opinion, rightly or wrongly, and some of your posts were far better reading than a lot of the dross by some that wouldn't know the difference between Frankie Dettori and Frank Bruno. now ive never trolled dom as i started reading his stuff but concluded a lot of it was hit and miss,and thus decided better not to read it and let my race opinion be compromised.
but i will say if you do post in the way he did you welcome the plaudits and as such should handle the criticism. if you are still reading dom the forum can be a tough crowd,but the patronising nature of your posts was always going to be irksome to many. |

Can't say i've read many of your posts Domino and as you only appear to have joined betfair recently probably assumed you've had other nom de plumes!
I've been posting on here for about 14 years now, put up some drivel purposefully and some hopefully semi informed opinions, generally easy to spot the difference and can honestly say i've never received any abuse whatsoever, except in jest(i think)  , expect it's how you word things. If you come on in an arrogant i know it all way then you are going to attract a certain type of response.Most horse racing bettors on here are pretty clued up and don't appreciate being patronised, i just like to put something up which may have gone unnoticed by many or is way overpriced so can create a nice IR trade imo. Remember this is an anonymous forum, so it hardly matters if someone has a go at you and as Acey deucy says Man Up! PS, are you sure that post was on the wrong thread top2rated?  |

I actually agree with posters that say he should continue posting, and as Delta has stated already, you can always block anyone. It's only an annoymous forum after all.

No one should take ANY comment posted on these forums by anonymous mainly losers personally! If it stops one posting, one is beaten! These forums have certainly gone downhill over the past few years. There used to be serious discussion about almost every race. On chit chat hours go by without any new posts. You should treat these forums for what they are, a source of entertainment-sometimes informative, sometimes educational, sometimes amusing and sometimes insulting. Remember, if one met almost any of these anonymous posters face to face, he would not be as bold as made out on here! Anyway. good luck.

With all respect SnS I've not noticed you on here apart from when youve posted abuse at a couple of people here.

I'm not all sure the tone of the forum has changed that much in the 11+ years I have been observing it and posting on it. A number of people have got a great deal of personal abuse over the years including me. I used to get quite upset by it ( and not just when I was repeatedly called a paedophile ). Hardly ever do now. That may be because I very rarely put up selections on this forum these days but it's mainly because I try to reply with a well-argued and,when I can manage it,a witty put-down.

You see this sort of thing a lot nowadays on the social media. In Facebook groups people will announce that they are going to leave because of this,that or the other and then a whole load of people plead for them to stay. Why don't they just go and be done with it.
