Really disappointed with the Oaks and Derby BUT I think we are going to see a horse in Cracksman who is going to become recognized as an all time great...hope so anyway

sometimes racing isn't about betting and enjoying the sport for just what it is and this is one of those occasions I think
|

Only danger imvho would be Hawkbill allowed a soft lead and then kick, like he did in Meydan. But on a line with Highland Reel Cracksman is a mile ahead of Hawkbill. A race to enjoy with a sfc on Cracksman & Hawkbill

hoping cracksman wins by 4 plus l got 2 bets on distance over 3 and over 4 and love seeing great horses win like that, frankel not always a betting price but a joy to watch in full flow.

|
By:
Not a penalty kick, and if it was they are often missed.
His form on the track is a short head win, and a 3rd. And he is by Frankel. |

By:
It would take an Act Of God to get Cracksman beat surely?....I would be absolutely Gobsmacked even allowing for that Helter skelter Racetrack.

obviously a different race but a big horse struggling with the track- could be a bad omen for saxon warrior tomorrow.

Maybe try that boat over timber

That said...tremendous effort to run down the 2nd. A lesser horse would not have done that.

he's had a hard enough race there...
Not ideal with Royal Ascot only three weeks away (I know there are no easy Group 1s). |

as per my earlier thread golden horn was supposedly equal or better than cracksman but got beaten by a similar sds ride

Long and short was that it was a terrible run by a very brilliant and brave horse.
Won purely on class and guts and stamina, although if he had been shut out, he would have gone down. This wasn't his running by a country mile, let's face it. He's beaten a 110 rated listed horse by the skin of his teeth? He's had two defeats prior to this. As a three year old he sat too far back and came (way) too wide in the Irish Derby where he woulda won in another 100 yards....and his run in the Derby, where, like today, he patently didn't let himself down. Some of you need locking up. |

Terrible? Fantastic perhaps. Track, ground ,way race panned out. What do you want? Canter then 10 length teleport.
