Just read that they reduced his 5 day non-jigger ban to 3 days, whilst acknowledging he had breached the rules in not being seen to make "a genuine attempt to obtain from the horse timely, real and substantial efforts to achieve the best possible place."

Apparently they reduced it so he could ride over Guineas weekend.

We're not talking about a 'rag' having a quiet third run for a mark that no-one had backed, this was a 5-4 favourite in a handicap.

This filly, who has a looked a through stayer at 7f / mile when the ground has been heavy, is now dropped back in trip (2.45 Gowran) from the mile last time to 7f on forecast good ground, with blinkers applied.

She's been looking to me like she wants to go up in trip, but the good ground and blinkers are firsts so who knows. Good luck to anyone backing her at 2-1.
