He’s been p*ss poor all afternoon. He got lucky on Amomentofmadness after he removed the hood late and has ridden the same tactically poor race on Rastrelli, the fav in the last and Ghostwatch... He’s so overrated.... James Doyle a far better pilot imo.

Ya let me down for quite a few £££. He rode for a decent position then let Moore come up and go past him and then got completely out of position. I am a big Buick fan especially at Newmarket but don't think Chester is his track. In his defense however the horse broke slowly which was clearly not the plan. I think on a more conventional track the horse be the best of these. Finished like a horse with still plenty in the tank just did not handle the track from the position he found himself in.

Rastrelli was plain simply not good enough in my opinion. I actually though Buick got him into reasonable position but horse waved the white flag quite early.

Godolphin and Appleby have been "wrong" employing him as No 1 jockey to their racing empire then. Does Shoemark have a chance filling his post? A swap perhaps. Some here will be very happy, I'd imagine.
