I'm sure there was a long thread on here about it some weeks ago. I would be peed off too as there is no way I'm paying their subscriptions. Having said that is ATR going to remain free ( and before anybody says anything I am aware you have to pay for Sky or Virgin basic packages ) ?

Not a mention on ATR Racing News. No real surprise there as I don’t think they ever mentioned losing the Irish Racing either.. I wonder if there’ll be a change in presenters?

Seems unreal. I wonder will keep Aussie, SA and French racing (other than just the big races). Will they keep any of the features. I like the Saturday morning problem. Will they keep the presenters? Or bring new ones in?

ALIEN SEX FIEND 30 Apr 18 10:04 Will the 2 channels run side by side, or will ATR be taken off the air. Will they keep the Irish and South African racing?
ALIEN SEX FIEND 30 Apr 18 10:13 And Bangor ON Dee, ATR do not seem to be saying much................maybe I have missed it. ----------
Yes - you have, "missed it," ALEX.
Irish racing is going to RUK, next year - anyway.

Salmon you are wrong, ATR is nowhere near free on either Sky or Virgin. Sky requires you to purchase the Entertainment Extra package while Virgin requires you to purchase the M+ package. Please do not distort the argument, no matter how much you would like to.

It is a great pity that Irish Racing did not stay with ATR as Sky Racing will be in HD.
RUK will have too many meetings with split screens when they start the Irish stuff

Well if that's the case jmdc they have been scamming me for 7 and a half years. Apart from a decent picture I don't get much else that isn't on Freeview. If ATR/Sky becomes subscription only I am getting rid of the TV and watching everything online.
