Like -what did people think ? That PT would forget how to ride altogether ?
He's the same good jockey today as he was yesterday and will be tomorrow.

Not a bother on him in his post race interview and rightly so.

As a fella who has made a load of mistakes meself.i can empathise with the man.

Thought he may get a few more congrats for that ride but obviously too many with lumps still in their throats here.

pa.. im ambivalent really but lost a bit of respect for him yesterday when he never manned up. Remember Dougie's interview when he got sacked by Burke? There's much worse things going on in the world. I'll save my sympathy for that lass beaten up in Bangor,,,

@ The Fear, just maybe he didn't want to say anything and not hang someone? different case then imo and that could be possible.

Bang on anyway re worse things going on in the world rather than a jockeys "error".

As Sonia O'Sullivans father once put it, well noone died, but Paul made a horrendous error yesterday and can't expect but to be severely criticised, as well as suspended, for it. It's alright for Ruby to defend him and say he's human and we're not machines etc, but these are probably the two highest paid jockeys in the country, precisely because they are not expected to panic or make rash decisions in the heat of the action. Paul's error was worse than Roger Loughran's a decade ago and look at the vilification Roger got (and is still getting) for that.
