The introduction of AW signalled the beginning of the end of British racing - 3 races with a VTW of £3105 today. It was all done to keep the bookies happy and now most of them wont even take a bet. Sad.

Its been an abnormally wet early spring, there aren't usually as many postponements in March/April so seems like overkill to add more a/w fixtures

I remember when harness racing was shown on one of the channels when there was no racing in the UK some years ago. It was only marginally worse than the AW dross.

I also remember those Trotting races as well as Greyhound racing on TV. I chose not to watch it rather than moan as I often do with jump racing.
