referred to bf exchange screen for a price and liquidity check
By:
what was it and were you accommodated?
By:
£100 Doctor phoenix....yes I was !!
By:
initially that was the business plan BB, we can get it all on but at possible shorter prices and no point in checking machine for liquidity at this time of the day. Punter may seek 5/2 for 5k but with time constraints etc the facilitators ( not bookies ) may accept the stake @ 11/5. The decision to accept is up to the punter. Gone are the days of getting you on at best price best price even for Premier League footballers. TBF if its Corals or Baldy advertising best price then you're a million to get more than score on.

what price u get on Doctor Phoenix ?
11/2 max (nap) |
By:
The wording to describe the job, namely "traders" should have disappeared a long time ago....no actual trading is done....
By:
'We shall refer you to our arbers sir'.

Ben Keith portrays himself as a bookie with 'balls of steel', are you insinuating that he is a glorified arber ?

By:
I never said he was glorified.

He suffers from small man syndrome so has to act like Bertie Big Ballacks in front of the camera
By:
Fwiw never used the fixed odds service, but have star spreads and always managed to get a fair trade on so shouldnt grumble too much..
By:
He likes arbing and laying mugs as much as they want. Good business plan but not really a booky,,,
By:
I have £5 bets on the golf referred . Anything over £10 is usually reduced to £10. I got a £10ew bet at Cheltenham (Wholestone) rejected by the trader. I think these tales if big bets being laid, is only if there is plenty of juice and liquidity on Betfair.
By:
facilitator sounds more professional than arber but thats exactly what the firm is, they aren't bookies although he may lay the middle eastern chaps that mill aimlessly around Curzon and Mount St, much the same as he would EPL players and high profile celebrities.
By:
How can a very modest bet of a ton be "referred to traders"? It's just nonsensical.
By:
High rollers is sumfing Mrs Keith puts in her hair.
By:
had to laugh at that newspaper article about him a while back, gave a story of Braveheart in terms of taking on all comers (in the picture with him is a monitor with betfair exchange on it)

Perhaps it would be better to try the big boys. Does anyone know if Mr Ricci's firm will lay a decent bet?
By:
Mr Ricci chased me after 1 bet
By:
I hope you mean closed.

By:
They do ribero it’s seems they struggle to get on the golf as they restrict Ian p to a tenner, funny last year at the festival they were laying 400 thousand pound bets I think even this year according to the racing post they took loads of chunky bets.
