^ correct - Nad Al Sheba definitely a better, and fairer, track.
Meydan being just a big HOTEL complex and 'show-off Palace' for the Sheikhs. NEVER a proper Racecourse in the memory of man - - even many Turf races can be an embarrassment aswell. ----- The change to DIRT being just to attract the AMERICANS for merely ONE race per year Even the change to Tapeta did not work - mind you, has THAT worked at Newcastle, too? - there also appears to be something wrong with the LAY-OUT at Meydan, though... Makes Chester look more like Pontefract. |

You can see that when they designed Nad Al Sheba they put a lot of thought into the design and then worked hard at building up the quality of the races.
Meydan was just a cash grab ie just maybe a bigger more grander race track and then switch to Tapeta to appease the AR lobby. |
