To be honest those of you who lay should have cleaned up, pled far too much then when he settled him Full Flow came upsides and set him alight again.

Getabird pulled and jumped slightly right on the odd one but no excuse. Nevertheless, still a disappointing run on a form with Mengli Khan (MK) - I thought would win 3 out.
In fairness to Kevin Blake he couldn't have been more negative about Getabird this morning regarding his jumping to the right etc.

I mentioned the issue about Getabird going left handed on here about two months ago. Nice to see Blake catching up.
Not saying he would've won being held up, but maybe given a better chance than trying to front run on stamina sapping ground

Agreed, patient classy ride. Clearly on the best horse though, Ruby just let him settle after clattering the fence then at the right time revved him up and he responded like a ferrari...

Intelligent ride, and thank goodness he did not fall at the last. I was on at 5/1 and 6/1 (any race).

Should never be a grade 1. They should make it a grade 3 so that some of them avoid it and get found out in the champion/stayers.....let’s face it the only reason the fav and 3rd fav were running is because it was a cheap grade 1.
