The big novice hurdle showdown is Samcro v Next Destination, not Samcro v Getabird imo

he wont have met a horse like next destination before premier hopefully he will not run friday.

Samcro will win where ever it turns up... cant see anything to touch it!

Think the Ballymore is the easier of the 2 races.

Anyone betting Samcro odds on is crazy, he has done nothing to justify that (he may be the second coming but he has not proved that on the course).

Times are nothing more than average and there is nothing between him and Next Destination on form lines through Duc Des Genievres.

Samcro 4/6 and NS 9/2 is madness.  (whatever the eventual outcome)

think the 2 in the supreme look potential top class.......cant see those horses in the ballymore

the firm compete well next week sparrow i should think for most punters the value will be in the shops i know its not always easy to get on but those with the time and dont mind the effort will be rewarded.

It's a fair point Koi, and visually it has been impressive.   If you have the fancy prices, good luck to you.   I am not anti the horse and would love to have a champion from this generation, but how anyone can justify the current price I am mot sure.

it will be great sparrow i know theres a few non runners but no more than normal,the stayers hurdle and the triumph hurdle look very deep races ,i totally agree with equine flew 1209 post ,if the horse proves himself on wednesday then thats great and we can all look forward to his career in the future.

lost nichols canyon along the way can only be a help

so far he has wondersobright things can change by thursday having said that good to soft would be fine ,its a very hard race plenty with chances i did back him at 28s after haydock but i am under no illusions how open a race the stayers hurdle is this year.

I do prefer this new 48hr decs, it stops the likes of Mullins/Ricci taking the michael to the last min.

OTBS the only pre-NRNB I had - backed it after being there at cheltenham when it won....the preview night rumours were correct then, shame the trainer (or indeed owners son who i saw on one preview night described as a pro-punter, my erse!) didn't say something earlier

Despite saying it would DEFINITELY run in the Ballymore irrespective of the ground (via Chapman on the Morning Line), last night at the Betfair preview night he said "it would need to be proper heavy ground for him to go for the Supreme over the Ballymore."

Not quite the same message.. glad when it is all over later today.  However, with Ballymore cutting up, that seems the right decision

they better hurry up and make a decision! only minutes to go
