well !!!!!! Perhaps i have just realised why the forum has got these problems. Some rather supercilious comments which are totally unnecessary. My post was purely an attempt to understand from decent forumites to offer an opinion. I have been a member on here for longer than most and we used to have some great and well reasoned debates. There was also some really good wordsmiths along with funny comments from some clever and talented people that made this a place a pleasure to be on at times. Good luck to those who remember what i am talking about .
I have never come on here to upset people thats not my style. I truly hope this place can recover and become the place it was. One of the most funniest posts ever was about a guy who had by accident he tragically ran his dog on hos drive. He asked the forum what he should tell his wife when she cam home from shopping. You can imagine some of the responses but it was funny and i have never heatrd from this day what he said to console his wife but he had about 200 options 
The wordsmith man is currently dozing in his faux leather armchair, he'll be back on in a couple of hours.
Last time i cam eon here i couldnt even find the form URL unless i reduced the screen size on zoom. Im glad its been fully restored to the menu

The guy had reversed his car over the poor thing and was in a flap about what he should say to his wife. it went on for ages and every post was funny.
As fate would have it, and luckily for him, it was simply a case of mistaken identity. Transpires he reversed into his neighbour's drive and ran over their dog instead so they all lived happily ever after. Except their dog of course. When I say happily ever after that's not strictly true either. Turns out her shopping spiralled out of control and she started spending large amounts of their household income on kebabs. Then the lies started and he threw her out. She saved some money and received pioneering medical treatment to transform her into a man. Now lives in Edinburgh and was last seen driving a Mini. Might answer to the name of Mart.

Who is still watching the racing. Total dross today so what is there to write about apart from which year you want to travel to! I just hope that Saturday cards are all on. There is nothing to take my interest before that. When was the last time that Nicholls had no runners at Wincanton?
