When I was fatter and people called me fat I didn't take it personally because it was true and the reasons for being that way were too much booze,too many takeaways and no excercise so what else were they going to call me?

Choosing not to listen to liars when there are other things to do during the day is my choice,I'm strongly against liars and validating people who are stealing a living.The thread was asking if anyone else still bet but didn't watch the racing channels for similar reasons to myself.

What is wrong is insulting someone with a medical condition or something they are born with that's where I draw the line when it's not that persons' fault.

I apologise was talking on lots of threads at the time about similar things though there is some past and present tense in my posts on that thread.

No i don't play the place pot here. there is no value. The structure of the uk tote bets and the pathetic pool sizes make it a non starter. I am a big advocate of pool betting and would have a pool and exchange only system any day of the week and twice on sundays.

i do the races presented in front of me. Often i tell people to bet small. People going to bet anyway so i advise small. I can tell you though that when i say FIRE I myself have fired. A few weeks ago i told the viewers Racine could not lose. I had £3k on it.

whereas in reality the only thing that matters is the price they are taking, the winning or losing on an individual bet is irrelevant in the long run as long as they are staking correctly

Tipping in the manner of what's in front of you is hard for a pro punter who will win over time but can lose on any given day,that's why I stopped tipping to people I know years ago because they don't understand winning over time.

I really like Joe, brings a breath of fresh air to punditry, says it as it is and we know he's got his money down too.
