It took a while to sort the data as 2013-16 was in a different format to 2017. Those 4 years are also sorted by distance and race type while that will be probably too time consuming to do for 2017 and merge them. Might plod away at it but looks like profits go down for longer races which makes sense.

Anyway, some interesting stuff. The data isn't perfect - splitting the Newmarket courses or Lingfield into turf/AW would take too long. Leicester, Stratford and Taunton I kept as ATR tracks from the purpose of the 5 year period. There is probably the odd 2 mile flat race that's ended up in the jumps data.

I make twice as much on average per RUK race compared to ATR.
About 20% per race more on jumps compared to flat.

In terms of pure profit
10 best tracks - Newmarket, Kempton Flat, Wolves, Cheltenham, Dundalk, Chelmsford, M Rasen, Beverley, Wincanton, Ludlow.
10 worst - Newcastle Flat, Hexham, Tramore, Limerick, Killarney, Brighton, Listowel, Wexford, Cork, Roscommon (all Irish are flat)

In terms of profit per race
10 best - Cartmel, Naas Jumps, Aintree, Cheltenham, Wincanton, Kilbeggan, Newmarket, Kempton Jumps, Gowran Jumps, Sligo Flat.
10 worst - Same as above, different order.

I thought Musselburgh, Catterick Jumps and Haydock Flat would have been better.
Surprised Doncaster flat, Ripon and Ffos Las flat were so good.

Worst 39 tracks were ATR. I bet at 272 races at Hexham and made £8.30......... 3p a race Laugh

Definitely worth doing for all you home players.

Tramore is no surprise to me. Can't raceread that track. All travel well and then a quick sprint to the line (fast pics swoop).

are your worst tracks actually losers or just less profit :/

I won at Newcastle Flat but only £61 in 324 races. Tiny profit at Hexham, the other 8 are losing tracks. The clear worst being Roscommon where I lost £196 in only 21 races though, so I had kinda worked out I didn't do well there. Biggest waste of time was Brighton, 236 races with a £128 loss.

Funnily enough Roscommon over jumps was 11th best overall

It's very interesting but sometimes I think a short head could have made a difference to some of the figures. How are you winning at Dundalk :D

Very true but I nearly always trade and don't bet big amounts compared to some so my stats will be more reliable than most.

Hard to explain Dundalk. It sometimes feels impossible.

Haven't got any data but I know that my worst two would be Bath and Perth...by a mile!!!

Funnily enough, Donny flat, Ffos Las flat and jumps actually and Ripon would be pretty good for me too.
