I'm 8 miles away and although on higher ground it's 6 degrees officially on accuweather while the ground is frozen and am surrounded by freezing fog. It will have frozen days ago then there hasn't been enough sunlight to warm the ground despite being above freezing.

think it's worse when the ground is cut up, frost gets in the holes. still i always think some tracks could try harder
