I was at Donny that day,must admit can't remember what an amazing crowd there was that day,stretching all the way down the straight and in the middle of the track too.
Theres a dodgy old film of his Dewhurst win. Lester hardly moved a muscle and he won hard on the bridle. An incredible colt.
I was there when he won the Derby stood on the tote building hot day that day.
If he hadn't contracted ringworm he would have won the Arc and gone down as the best horse in history !
