Interesting that it is not freezing in that part of the world. I am quite near to Taunton and they should be OK at the moment although there could be frost to come.

Just a few miles to the north, plenty around as you say, and it's now rain mixed with sleet. I wouldn't be surprised if the description went to heavy all round by the start.

I used to think that Plumpton got the worst weather but in recent years Fontwell beats it hands down.

You're right; I'm not going. See that the 2 local trainers Amanda Perrett and Richard Rowe have withdrawn their runners, although the next 2 Messrs Gifford and Moore are sticking with it.
