better stallions fair enough but if they were commercially viable operation beforehand then surely some of the £6M windfall should be either a dividend or a 'share buy-back' sort of scheme..

Oldgit1 . Why would you want to try new blood? If they have a colt they could sell @ huge profit as a yearling(if thats their M.O) Acclamation £30,000 gns fee. If a filly could race and a bit of black type could again make a packet . Trying something different when you have a proven formula doesnt really make commercial sense.

We know the rules when we join so cant expect a windfall on the strength of the sale. I wonder if Sir Mark gets a bung from it. Acclamation is getting on a bit how are his present offspring doing? I can see that they still sell for big prices.

There is a free daily one horse tipping service that seems quite good. They had four or five on the trot until a close second yesterday Prize money won by the Club horses during the period of membership is distributed equally amongst the Members at the end of the Member´s 12 months membership period and whereas the sum to date (since 1992) has exceeded £2.5million, there can never be any guarantee of any future level of prize money, given that this is dependent on how well the horses perform on the racecourse and the quantity of Members at the point of each race.
