The rides for Hannon dried up after he lost his claim and Hannon started making use of Tom Marquand's claim instead.
When you have more experienced jockeys in the Hannon yard like Pat Dobbs, Sean Levey, Timmy Murphy, as well as an ex-apprentice like Kieran O'Neill, who has been there longer and rode his claim out earlier and then you also had/have apprentices like Marquand and Hollie Doyle who could/can claim, Cam Hardie lacked the experience of the older jockeys but also could no longer offer the advantage of a weight claim. He must have realised this and was aware of the competition for rides and so went back up north where he comes from. He will probably get more rides for Antony Brittain than if he had stayed at Hannon's but the overall quality will not be very good. |

Poor Cam, I don't suppose they recovered the £80K of equipment that was nicked from his livery yard last year?
