I really like Luke Harvey, he does a great job.
By:
Of being a buffoon or character as its now known.
By:
He is a fool but miles better than seeing Mick F.
By:
It takes a wise man to play the fool...but I think he's the exception
By:
Too me he just comes over as an obnoxious upper class pr#ck..........how he's on national television is beyond me............a bit like public schoolboy CHAPMAN..
By:
Upper Class??? What on earth do you mean?

No wonder this forum is now devoid of any good posters. The hate fest of people is at best sad, certainly bigoted and at worst disgusting.
Filth without substance scribbled on here from some should be taken to account. |

By:
Well said Saxon
By:
Hear hear
By:
I quite like him.
Some people on here take things far to serious. The thought of someone having a joke and a laugh is beyond them. |
By:
"Some people on here take things far to serious".......English please.
By:
too
point in case proven right there though. Rather have a pint or 2 with Harvey than a miserable old goat than you johngrace. You sound a real barrel of laughs ![]() ![]() |
By:
Oh I see, I now assume that you mean "too seriously". Given a third attempt you would probably be able to construct that sentence correctly.

Yes, well said Saxon!
By:
My anger is directed at his paymasters who force him to play the clown role.
By:
LT is a right laugh, a good guy.
By:
Compared to McCoy he is genius.
By:
A good egg imho...
By:
Agree punchestown, I like him.
By:
I don't get all this negativity for almost every pundit on either side - Luke brings a light heartedness to it all and aint afraid to laugh at himself when the need arises - lighten up peeps

By:
I don't think I've ever said this before, but I agree with Smirnoff.

I've met Luke several times on course and at Selhurst Park, like me he is an avid Crystal Palace supporter and I can only say as I find, he is an extremely amiable and pleasant person.

Hows Cabaye doing these days slippy - was gutted when he left our lot but career seems to have stalled past 4yrs or so

By:
I've met him and although he tapped a pint off me he had time for everyone and wasnt up his own arse like some of them McCoy an utter gent as well!
By:
Happy go lucky guy. Suspect deep down he knows he’s stealing a living with his ability but just riding the gravy train
By:
He is far more entertaining than most can laugh at himself and others. He would appeal to someone who is not an avid racing fan and at the end of the day if ITV want more viewers this is where they will get them from. As we see with many sports lack of terrestrial free coverage long term leads to dire consequences for the sport. Casual viewing figures in real terms have fallen off since racing lost the fun element provided by the old Channel 4 racing.

By:
Genuine ,funny chap, may not be everybody's cup of tea ,but then who is ?
By:
My son has met him several times when the ATR people come over for the Punchestown Festival and said the guy is sound and great craic, talk about people putting down one of your own,he knows he was a mediocre jockey (At least he had the bottle to get up there) but is doing his best to lighten the TV coverage which we all give out is way too stodgy.
By:
He's harmless enough and probably one of the best of a bad bunch, I love the way he manages to do most of his dialogue by just reading the form of the horses out.
