divided by 3 on Monday at Notts

It consistently happens over both jumps and flat.  Plenty of bumpers divided and end up having 7 runner races

more races = more media rights monee

I appreciate that but it's hard enough to follow the sport as it is with the diluted race programme. It appears that the BHA is a party to the constant dumbing down of the sport and don't have either the balls or the brains to stand up for themselves.

Agree. Can't stand the contrived division of races. If you've got 40 decs and you could have 2 x 20 runner divisions, then fair enough. But two 9 runner affairs is stupid.

Also, you often get non runners in these small divisions and end up with two 7 runner races.

i cant see them racing at "notts" on monday.

Smaller the field the better for the punter.

Bit of a generalisation there sparrow. I'm a punter and small fields aren't better for me.

My records tell me a different story. I suppose we all have our different ways of playing which just goes to show none of us should make these statements as to which is best or otherwise.
