TBH I gave up on Betfred a long time ago. I like to do L15's from time to time but even with Betfreds better bonuses for one winner or all four up, their odds generally compared to B365 are so uncompetitive it is more sensible to bet with B365 who have meaner bonuses but better prices and BPG applied to all L15 selections. Betfair Sporting Book beats Betfred in nearly all races.

asheigh--good point and I think they now do 2 full meetings every day. I'm comparing with 6 months ago when they were BOG on every race during happy hour. And their prices on non BOG neetings are equally poor.

Still the best on the high Street for punters, imo BOG on 3 meetings a day, 1 of which from 12pm onwards, and no limit on the bonus you get from BOG unlike the others 100 quid allowed on pushes
Not an apologist for Fred but better than the rest, imo

Reg-is it still treble odds for one winner lucky 15?
Was my most profitable stratedy ever in terms of % profit. But turnover was limited to about £300/day max

JML... no, cut to double odds one winner on a lucky15
The best one he did in the shops, imo, finished about 5 years ago... Between 9 and 9.15 he would revert to the prices for his firm as in the pricewise table
So, if a few had been gambled in overnight and/or tipped up in the Post, you would get the original prices submitted to the paper the evening before, in that 15 minute window
So, you might have 6 or so horses halved in price especially in the big Saturday handicaps, say 25s into 12s,16s into 8s....etc
You could do them at the bigger prices in singles, multiples all with BOG, treble odds on a lucky15 and bonuses as well
Happy days

Things will only get worse, in terms of value and pricing, if the government impose a greater tax on bookmakers in Wednesdays budget.
BOG and extra places may well disappear from all bookmakers and 3% per runner races will be comon across the board - in effect the punter will end up paying anny extra tax through lower bookmaker offerings.

I visited a Bald Fred outlet yesterday in Whitley Bay but only because I was bursting for a pee and the lavatory door was locked in William Hills also in Whitley Bay
