Would have also been nice if the commentator had said what came second and third, instead of just calling the winner and then reading out the title of the race !

I'd say this pales into insignificance compared to the discussion / argument Rachel had with Willo a few weeks back about Cracksman.
Despite Willo givinginforming her of good reasons (3YO allowance against elders, massive figure at York, etc) why Cracksman should continue racing as a 3YO, not to mention the likeliest reason Cracksman wasn't going for the Arc, didn't she insist the horse should be put away for a 4YO career?
Well after Cracksman's demolition job at Ascot, we now know who was right!

George.B she said the same about Battaash, she would have put him away and saved him for Longchamp next year as the track would suit him better than Chantilly she said. And he's a gelding

Not something I've really ever understood, no matter who says it, be it trainer or pundit, if you've got a sound horse who's in good form and there are still races left worth winning, why would you want to put the horse away?]
And risk coming back not in the same form after a break, or finding others improving past you, etc
One of the points Willo made was that Cracksman will obviously have to concede weight to the 3YOs next season, and what if they're a stellar crop, or O'Brien has another superstar on his hands?

me, and I'd imagine most others, probably thought after the Arc, oh well, they called it right not running Cracksman against Enable.
However, after Saturday, you'd have to think he'd have gone close at least; and while I appreciate the owner ain't short of a few bob, there is the small matter of nearly £2 million difference in prize money, albeit, Saturday's win will ensure he's not short of mares at stud to service!

Hey Anthony, sir, that Enable, she's had a hard enough season now, Oaks, King George, Yorkshire Oaks, hardly your classic Arc preparation, and not one I think Monsieur Fabre would approve of! She is of course a filly and you never know when they may come into season, even in October! Go for the Arc, I say, it's worth around £2 million more than the Champion Stakes to the winner!
Do you think I would have convinced him, tyred?

Oldest trick in the book, drop him out, deliberately run up the backside of another horse or 2 go for a gap that's not there come late and hard when the race is over.
A blatant stopping job BETFAIR need to investigate the strange unexplained drift betting and report this to the BHA
