Firefox has become a joke. I completely uninstalled the garbage a little while ago. I now have Chrome as my #1..with Opera as its deputy

This suggests it might be due to add-ons or possibly hardware acceleration.

Interesting - Ramruna
I have had the same Add-Ons and Extensions for YEARS on previius versions - and never an issue. Strange, though that the two White square Minimise/Maximise boxes to the left of the Red X both work.... You would, think that the whole Triple Unit/Frame would, presumably, act the same. ![]() Just noticed that on the 'About Firefox' info - from the 'Help' drop-down on the Menu bar it says ... Firefox 55.0.3 (32-bit version) My machine is 64-bit ... Wonder if Firefox have downloaded a 'pup' by error. I will go back to the previous version - and see if that says 64-bit. |

It updated today, so presume it's that version. It was a bit slow in closing but did close with the X

Not been happy with v55 at all, disabled all add ons etc still laggy, I'm on .0.2, hoping .0.3 sorts things out. Win10, 64bit.
