strange ride going for that gap

cam from behnd showed that just as he went to go up inner, the horse in front of him started edging right, so instead he switched left into the gap that was there at the time but soon closed...thems the breaks

Backed it but tbf it was one of those races where there wasn't much he could do.

What's more annoying is that Lydia and Steve Mellish have been undertaking post race analysis for the last 10 mins and not mentioned once that the horse would have gone really close if he'd got out!

Haven't similar rides previously been summed up on here as "not today" efforts and accusations of jockeys switching, so as to do everything possible to find trouble in running?
