Frank ' one dimensional ' Spencer
By:
frank holds up last in a slowly run race won by a cumani who he also rides for :/
By:
Cosgraves was getting the revs up for the sprint whilst Frank was just sitting there off a steady gallop
By:
He really is so frustrating!!!
By:
Has a knack of frequently being in the wrong place at the wrong time..(or right place at the right time for the layers!)

hes the only jockey thats never asked by the other jockeys how hes gonna run the race

Thick and Clueless comes to mind.

Trainer's deserve to go to the wall when they support him.Just be like Emma Spencer, don't touch him.
By:
spoilt rich kid - didn't come up same way most jocks do - flat or jumps- think he has some kind of superiority complex
By:
Doesn't matter whether it's 2 runners or 32 runners we know where Frank will be positioned - The most one dimensional, predictable jockey riding today. On the rare occasion these last to first tactics of his come off,the pundits go completely overboard eulogising over the ride, conveniently sweeping under the carpet all the times it goes so terribly wrong..
By:
Quite possibly the most over rated rider of all time.
By:
What are you talking about? He got there in plenty of time in the right position (where he could see all the others on his left) and Harbour Rock dogged it. His tail was going round like a helicopter blade. If you backed the horse, dont back him again.

By:
Unitedbiscuits - apologies if you meant me. My comments were more of a general observation rather than relating to any specific rides he may have had today..
By:
I didn't back the horse, just a general comment on my part. One based on over twenty years experience of watching and betting on racing.
By:
He was upsides the winner 2 out and travelling better but found much less than the winner. There was nothing whatsoever wrong with that ride
By:
Jamie's not having a mare because Jamie doesn't care. His last two rides, held-up tactics the on both occasions mount taken very wide. I'm beginning to believe that Mr Spencer enjoys the notoriety his arrogant antics engender! Jamie, just like Ruby doesn't give a sheet, he believes he is beyond reproach and who could say otherwise?
By:
Any jockey worth his salt should really not give a sheet what keyboard jockeys think of them
By:
but its the sheer number of times it occurs firstimevisor you seem to have your head in the sand - 4 ex 5 rides are cocked up
By:
You heading for Beachy Head firettimevisor? Or more likely you're a fifty pence 'nice name' bettor! Leave serious discussion to the big boys- it's apologist masochistic clowns like you that allow Jamie and Ruby to indulge their egos without censure. Now do us all a favor and save your pocket money and buy premium bonds, there's a good lad!
By:
Of course they shouldn't care what "keyboard jockeys" think of them. They should have enough initiative however to not keep riding the same badly-judged races time and time again.
By:
Really Fredlyn, 4 out of 5? Yet he wins on approx 1 in 5.His strike is as good as any other. You obviously expect him to win on everything
By:
Ihal essex, apologies as I didn't realise you were having a big-boy serious discussion. With that sophisticated insight and your shrewd racing brain then yes,Jamie and even Ruby should be subjest to your censure.

Firstimevisor : careful, stop the hysterics, perhaps firsttimevirgin a more appropriate moniker in these shark-infested water?
Now, I repeat and this time please engage at least one of your two brain cells before throwing a tizzy, Jamie Spencer and Ruby Walsh are untouchable as regards their disregard and contempt for punters (yes that includes you and your your 50pence L15s) and while clowns like you continue to excuse the inexcusable, then these two Cowboys will continue merrily shafting the betting public. Mind you, perhaps you're a member of the Top Table.....? No, somehow I don't think so. Please don't cut down on the medication! |
By:
Ah now Ilhal, calm down.It may have been another bad day for you but dole-day is never too far away.
The day jockeys are answerable to the likes of yourself would be a very sad day for the sport and for true racing fans. |

By:
Firsttimeblindfold:: have you ever sought psychiatric help for your masochistic tendencies? Being a caring human being I'm seriously concerned as to your financial welfare - STOP BETTING IMMEDIATELY! Cut up your credit cards and first thing every morning chant: "Today, I will not bet on Jamie or Ruby."
You know it makes sense! |
