nearly as bad as the coconut shell noises on very soft ground, or the brushing through the fence noise thats was mistimed.
Memories of BBC's thundering hooves come flooding back. Loved it when you could still the sound even when the horses were in the air jumping a fence!

bbc at Chepstow in front of a roaring 50,000 crowd with horses clip clopping on a firm ground welsh national,was racing at its best or most comical
