Serves them right," single
Manning " or in real terms means leaving some poor soul on their own is despicable, not to mention the health and safety regs being seemingly skirted. |

Ronnie, posting by phone atm so apologies for any mistakes, but i thought the single manning was being done away with.? I seem to see more and more here in
Glasgow with whills the worst offenders, what are their management thinking leaving young naive employees on their own. |

Dr A
I only met Kenny the once about 5 years ago, I wasn't sure it was him at first due to his disguise, but when he put a straight bet on which he does first I had an inkling it was him. I asked the pretty young cashier who was working with me to go over to him and say "good morning Kenny the boss wants to know if you want a coffee" He smiled and declined, his bet lost and on his way out he said see you later I don't feel lucky today. obviously Kenny is what he is but he's is not aggressive, this new crowd the chapel gang are intimidating, threatening and use this to their advantage if they find a female lone working. |

I was in a bookies in South-West London a couple of years ago chatting to the guy that worked there while he was behind the counter, I was a regular at the time so we were having a good long chat, anyway as we're chatting a shifty looking guy in a hat and glasses comes in and starts looking at the dog sheets, I notice the guy that worked there looking at him intently while we were chatting - I assumed he knew the odd looking chap and was waiting for him to make eye contact se he could say hello. About 2 minutes later I hear "the dogs are going in" over the tannoy, the chap quickly writes out a slip with a bet on it and a second after the traps open he runs over to the counter and gives the guy working there the betting slip, the guy looks at the slip, looks up at the customer and says "NOT TODAY BARRY!" hahaha, dear Barry then shuffled off in a sulk and the guy working there proceeded to tell me the story of Barry Conway.
