tom has decided that in these big field hcp's at ascot,newmarket and york not to put up selections when he doesn't know what part of the course the races will be run. 
that's his excuse, and sticking to it.

there is no pace in these 7 furlong big handicap races this year just weird fair play for not playing in them

no pace the 5th home passed 15 horses in the last furlong,usualy evidence of a solid pace
