The subject of “crooser” seems to bring out the best and the worst in some people on here and it has to be said that he, whoever he is, be he an individual poster or an alias of someone else on here, doesn’t exactly endear himself to others with the way he posts on occasion, with the headline type boasts like inside info and this will be hammered in the market appearing to be false in the majority of cases.
The continual change in so called systems, no apparent profit and loss record-keeping of any kind and latterly the chasing by increased stakes when hitting a run of losers are more than a little disconcerting to say the least, as they in my view are all signs of a person lacking discipline and control over the way they play the game. In addition what borders on an obsession with Jim Crowley raises doubts about the incumbents approach to making and advising selections, perhaps at some stage in the future he will explain this strange oddity.
The good or bad news depending on which side of the divide you stand on is that "croosers" p&l for every selection I could find posted between 1/1/2015 and today to a level stake of 1 (pound or point) reads as follows:
At advised price + 128
At BFSP + 226
At Industry SP + 67
A few more statistical numbers that maybe of interest to some of you
Total selections 495
Total Non runners 34
Total Winners 57
Win Percentage 12.36
I will leave it up to others to come to their own conclusions on the enigma that is “crooser” now that they have the above information to work from.

said many times I have all the time in the world to do these little exercises, I do not like anyone getting a hard time on here unless it is deserved and the results are always of interest when you have a historical interest in numbers and profit or loss, maintain a similar set of stats on the guessers thread, it gives you an edge sometimes and that is always worth having. BornToWin, hand on heart (if I had one) this is all my own work, the only time I have used assistance was when compiling data for the Festival meeting questions a few years back (all paid at above minimum wage I would add...!) smokey1919 and all your other accounts, your envy does you no favours, would have enjoyed doing a similar exercise on your picks but unfortunately after timed winners rather spoil any attempt to put them together, the fact we all know you are a major loser from your woeful attempts in the competitions, will just have to suffice.....! |

well done cork langer on the compilation.ive backed a few of crossers ones infrequently i might add but ive been lucky.i got one 33/1 winner and a 14/1 out of about 20 i backed id say so im ahead. hes getting some info but id say mixing it with guesses..but hes doing ok!!

How else would we establish what everyone wanted to know, are croosers posted bets profitable or not over a period of time.....and they are, however, whether you believe he actually plays them is of course a totally different matter and impossible to prove, as is identifying who he is.

The Jim Crowley obsession is pretty clear when you delve into his results over the years as would an obsession with SDS.
Crooser is a stats man and imo a pretty good one, the fact he claimed info for a Gary moore runner that was flagged up in my DB for having no form in the book but a dangerous profile just before christmas hinted to me what he's all about. The said horse was never touched in the market and ran no race and for me rather than info (from that yard no chance!)he was using a stats approach. Even with the biggest priced winners a few have drifted hugely with apparently no interest from anyone again negating the info 'this will be backed and is fancied' statements. Having said all that it's a results game and however he gets there he does dig out some big winners. Too many on here don't seem to understand playing his sort of adds with inevitably lead to very big losing runs. |

You keep mentioning this 'It was 14/1 when he put it up!', Skinto. Are you aware that he also tipped a 50/1 winner (I can't remember its name, but Mattmu finished second to it) BEFORE the 14/1 drifter that went off at 50's? |

cork the only reason your scouring other threads is because of your own inability to make it pay
therefore you seek sanctuary watching how others do it , i have only had 4 personal threads total period 3 months on one forum 10k profit and 2 weeks on other forum 1200 profit again talking garbled diatribe, try concentrating on your own betting , your a guesser and try to guess about others you no zero about , maybe if you hang about canary wharf u might see crooser meeting his good lady , he lives in a diff circle to you but you keep guess about him making stupid judgments he , instead of commenting on others look after your own **** as u have loads of time surely a master like you cd put up a thread show us how its done over a season, instead you hide behind the wall sniping others , seriously sad when u have nothing better to do than to judge others especially as your not that good youself to be fair , friend or fow i give respect any posy poster , why the constant negativity , does it make you feel bigger and better , waffling does not pay the bills , end of chapter ! |

 I think you've misjudged Cork's intentions here (I know, it's very surprising!) though. He's PROVEN what most people have doubted, and he took up his own time doing it. It's no quick job going over two and a half years worth of threads, then working out three different P&L. |

I haven't read the full thread, but, it looks like Cork monitors the tipping threads with a view to using it to his advantage. No issue here with that, it would be different if he was collating the information and selling it on to others.
I expect Cork would've got croosers permission before posting his p / l. |

no he did not a clear breach of data protection but crooser is no snitch
no harm done holy i just wish the snipers wd go do one let posi posters post u get space cadet steve jumping on to almost every tip that is put up , if it happens to get beat he has a pop ! what happens the forum turns in to a ghost town and rabble , they wd not get away with it on any other forum they wd be swiftly booted out the door , posters should encourage such threads not make constant negative remarks , and the ones that do dont even put up |

i new ages ago he was in profit like the smipers who were having a pop at ryanwe this season and last i defended his postings given time some can thrive my point being kenbo more often than not they are driven away before they get the chance why did you think ryan never posted for ages
