NO a complete outsider didn't run, and they seem to be messing around, Betfair have cancelled my winning forecast (:() they better not rule 4 the winner because the horse that didn't run was about 200

The F/c void is frustrating but understandable Always been the rules for years. Lost count of the number of time a 100+ rag has played up and voided a decent (R)F/c
The withdrawn horse was 65s

Yeah they have yet again made an absolute horlicks of this, such things are happening every week, last price matched on the winner 5s!!!
Simple case of the idiots not closing the market on time.
Seriously the trading desk needs a deep audit and the people screwing up constantly purged, would happen in any other business.
As usual the delay in settling due to them having to go through everything manually, sorting up the screw ups first, rather than paying out the creditable bets first.
They do this all the time, sort out the **** ups first, get around to settling the honest punters last!

every time I have a decent winner there is some bloody drama at Betfair, I saw the race, the race was fine, there must have been re-opened market after I logged off thinking great , F/C and winner happy days. Because when the race ended Nadias dream had only touched 1.35 Now discover the F/C has disappeared , and I worry for my win, I have lost enough today betfair I need this to come through clean you buggers :)

Good to see Betfair have brushed it under the carpet and not even posted about the late settlement. Looks like they resettled the BSP's as Nadia Promise is now showinng as 14 whereas it was around 1.74 when the race went off

I find it funny how nobody backed Unified. I always think with these mega drifters "hey, the price is massively over inflated, surely some shrewdies will put some money on the horse 5 minutes before the off" but nope, everyone is stacking off on the odds on debutant like sheep to slaugter. Personally I backed Keeper's choice.

Just their own incompetence in the market not being in sync with the events.
They are taking ages, as anyone able to make a decision will have gone home, and they are sifting through up all the **** ups voiding those first, ie people taking prices not relevant due to their **** ups.
Any normal couple would pay out the creditable bets such as those places before he off first before trying to sort out the in running fiasco.
They cannot and will not void this race.Nothing untoward whatsoever.Just their own incompetence in the market not being in sync with the events. They are taking ages, as anyone able to make a decision will have gone home, and they are sifting through
I didn't notice did the race go " In running" and then close and then re-open ? I ask because sometimes when a race doesn't go green " in play" Betfair seem to rely on official start time to settle bets rather than the real off time, I have been stung before. I do not want my lay bets of Nadia's dream and backing of Unified to be shredded. after the day I have had these bets bring it all to smile land. I can live with the cancelled F/C, due to non runner, they are the rules as mentioned, it is sad at last to get a winning forecast, but I do understand, even if it pains.
I just wish this C#rp would happen when I have had a big losing bet, not on the rare winner :)

Something weird happened pre-race. When Orbit Light was playing up and it was clear it was going to be withdrawn BF suspended for a whole minute and it looked like unmatched money on the horse was being removed as if BF were in the process of making it an NR. After an entire minute of market suspension, it was unsuspended with the horse still in the market. Very strange.

If they want to give me the £33 green on Keepers Choice instead of the £3 green on Unified that would be nice of you betfair.
Incompetence I should have said* If they want to give me the £33 green on Keepers Choice instead of the £3 green on Unified that would be nice of you betfair.
The NR was left in the win market, but was BSP of 0 after NR-suspend and loading and during race. Now it's 65 The NR was taken out of place, e/w market (and 3TP was voided naturally) all before the off.

I played the IR market and that was very smooth throughout race. No odd spikes.
Layed the 2nd IR at around 2.6, so I hope I get my money (if it had got up I would happily accept the loss).
The IR market seemed fair and square.

Whoever backed Nadia's at short price must have thought the winner was the fav. Avery stupid mistake. Nothing untoward in running except someone or someone's bot fooked up

I did not bet in the race at all - But watched the In-Running closely - and actually had a Lay of the Winner lined up at 1.5 - as I felt it could/would be vulnerable in a close finish.
Did not activate the Lay, though - as it looked 'home for all money' until very close home - and the Market is always in front of you by that stage.

They will not void the market as have no reason to do so.
They somehow managed to post a Betfair Starting Price of 13/1 on the off for the unplaced odds on fave.
This is why they are taking hours to sort out their **** complicated by the fact the in running market was also closed late. Total fiasco!
I suspect it might be until the morning this gets sorted out when those that know what they are doing appear for the day shift :)

If you look at all three graphs, the first 95% of each graph is consistent and natural with pre-race betting and how the IR race played out itself. No odd bumps or spikes.
It only goes strange after the race has finished.
There's been hundreds of IR markets over the years where a horse hasn't gone in stalls at the off and market hasn't reformed, but the IR market has the NR left in.

They can't settle on a price and let the market go inrunning with everyone betting on what the screens showing then decide to change the price after the race has finished. Unbelievable

Yes - If you read the thread - you will see that people were questioning the 'impossible' Betfair SP for two hours.
The lack of communication was from BETFAIR - and NOT from participants on this thread.

I can clarify that when the rag bolted, the bf win market was suspended, the back/lay boxes on the rag were then emptied but horse was NOT removed from the WIN market, it was removed from the other markets I saw.
Someone has clearly tried to manipulate the BFSP's here, I am assuming a massive back went on the withdrawn horse which was still "active" in the BFSP pools, in essence they could not lose and were looking to harvest the other 3 runners, only explanation that seems plausible

I suspect that a second before the off or at the off time someone has placed a large win bet at 1.01 on the non runner and with there being little or no liquidity on that one the cross matcher has jumped in and layed the three runners to what was available at the time.If this was the case someone will have their account closed because Betfair will have taken this on the chin and that is why it took so long to resolve.
How the cross matcher works. " When a bet request cannot be matched by an opposing bet on the same selection, by operating cross-matching Betfair will attempt to match the bet request with unmatched liquidity on the remaining selections in the market."

the in house BF bots tend to malfunction when there is a withdrawal and it is not taken out of the exchange market, happened on numerous occasions, whether or not other bots take advantage of this situation is something I am not entirely sure about.
the cross matcher evidently does not work when this situation arises.
