Our market operators' software crashed we're working on getting it sorted! - thats what theyve said on twitter
It would be a nice gesture if people who would have lost money, also send an email. Then it will make it easier for Betfair to match up the emails and adjust one account up and the other down.

The only reason the Exchange hasn't been shut down full stop is because it tells the Sportsbook and Paddy Power what prices to offer. Other than that it represents punters losing money to each other, when they should be losing it directly to shareholders, in the shareholders' view.

rumour has it some fat scottish oaf tried to pull his entire balance of £190,000 because they won't let him post, but the site crashed as he only actually had £1.90 and had just added several zeros ....
I don't think the shareholders are that "hands on" screaming.

The Forum takes ages to load and is affecting my internet status now (quite a few times it has bombed me out trying to load it)....

i was amazed when it kept going up a few years ago coz it was blatantly obvious to me that things were starting to go downhill with horse racing in running especially....
pretty sure there are other things that have gone downhill within the last year or two but in all honesty i've lost count now....

it's the horseracing software that's the issue, petraco. Not sure if the tennis bot works in a diff manner

In their defence - the complexity of the software is up there with the best of them - incredibly complex programming/algorithms involved - it amazes me how after all these years that there is still no serious competitor to what is effectively a monopoly.

You can say the merger has been successful with nearly £2 billion added ,but has come down by £2 billion from it's high.

the bean counters can tell you losing duplicate jobs increases the share value - and the punters who row in on that make dough - can't knock them - wish I did - Still you can't argue with the fact that sometimes losing people results in a declined service - this service is poor - but also not surprised - exchange probably not the best breadwinner

His brother is hugely successful ,he always wanted to emulate him ,but his condition never allowed that to happen
so he used this site to find his own success .He has a very good heart ,that is all I am saying as he is not
here to reply.

I was advised by a friend who supplied them that they had a unique niche .I will cut a long story short and became involved ,but as they grew over the years they tried my patience but shareholder power helped
them to get on the right track time after time ,they left all the big boys nursing their wounds by joining
the online world very late.
I do not know if you have heard of ASOS an online retailing company ,who stared 17 years ago
about the same time Betfair were revolutionising the Gaming industry around 2000.
I was advised by a friend who supplied them that they had a unique niche .I will cut a long story short and became involved ,but as they grew over the years they tried my patience but shareholder power helped
them to get on the right track time after time ,they left all the big boys nursing their wounds by joining
the online world very late.

That is why it is very difficult to catch someone up if you are even 6 months behind in technology.
Betfair has a march on all the opposition ,let me put it simply for you to understand .
These genius programmers are inventing the wheel on a daily bases and are under huge stress,to provide
a safe platform .
They will get it right ,as they have the muscle ,other weaker online platforms get blown out the water before they start.
When you have a high street Shop you open the door with a key and of you go ,with an online platform you need
50 keys to open the door and 50 new keys to change on a daily bases for 365 days .
Keeping an online platform safe is mind-bendingly difficult.
