We know they went quick at Epsom, and WOE finished strongly going past ''spent'' horse's !

Why not set the fractions today, and dictate from the front !

Nice and interesting discussion with yourself there Halcyon .F.w.I.w , having Seamie aboard wouldn't put me off backing them.

Bearing in mind that Coolmore need to win G1 races to produce stallions-if Moore wasn't up to scratch and they thought he was costing them races and hence affecting their future stallion business he'd be out very quickly.

I'd not be put off backing Heffernan on any AOB's horses over Moore given the below average winning percentage from Moore. Also, you'd get a better price for Heffernan's mounts.

Piggott was on a percentage of breeding value/income, I believe, is Moore on the same financial terms? If so, I'd ditch Moore tomorrow because he loses too many races he ought to have won, I firmly believe.

I've said it before. Seamie would be a top five jockey if riding in the UK. (NAP)

Try Journey in the Pretty Polly at 16:20 at the Curragh today,...it could not get a worse ride than given to Cracksman or Waldgeist, could it?

Slight bit unfair. Wings of Eagles blew his sesamoid yesterday and is now retired.

better rider than RM - he's often used when Bally d want to set a gamble up also , SH rides outsiders to win or get placed at big odds

In Ireland I'd prefer Heffernan to Moore solely because he rides the horses at work - massive advantage - and knows the Irish tracks inside out better than Moore; horses win races, and jockeys lose races.

I think if the moneys down - its a no brainer - RM too like frank Spencer ,you just can't depend on that

Yes but look at prices of the majority of his rides, mostly outsiders, something definitely went down at ballydoyle

Not a great start to the season for Seamus,  I wonder how much longer he will keep going, it must be demoralising for him, watching all the ballydoyle horses, and he riding mostly no hopers.

It's a sad end to a great career, I don't think he has a ride today.

Does anyone know what actually happened, was SH booted, or he for some reason quit. Seems incredibly unlikely he'd willingly give up the cash cow. Obviously at his age he's not going improve on what he was giving up. Didn't appear to be declining in the saddle, ie still achieving AOB's objectives.

Could Adelaide River have won the 2023 Irish Derby with Seamie aboard? He didn't exactly wear out his whip arm in the closing stages while Ryan was all out to get his 4/11 stablemate home.
It wasn't the only time he looked unusually tepid in a finish. Maybe he just got tired of playing second fiddle.

-------------------

From what I heard and sounds plausible,he felt Wayne Lordan was starting to get more and more of the Moore cast offs that he would normally be  no guaranteed to get on and chucked the toys out.

He was passed by Lordan last night on an O'Brien hotpot in the shadow of the post on Leopardstown and him on a Fozzy Stack rag.

It  makes sense punchestown, I would always have thought he was a better jockey than Lordan,  but just my opinion.
