A friend of mine has said his BF video is no longer playing, following a chrome update last Friday. It's telling him he needs to install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.  I don't bet on horseracing so have never used the flash player but I thought that the browsers had stopped supporting it due to security issues?  Will he be ok to get the latest version or is there an alternative?  TIA

Ongoing issue on here.

That message on CHROME - is a NONSENSE... as, FLASH is built-into the  Chrome Browser.

Installing the "Latest version of FLASH Player" (As the message on Betfair Live Video) on Chrome will make NO difference, whatsoever, whether Live Video works for YOU on CHROME, or not.

The issue appears to be absolutely RANDOM -

For some People there is No issue with Live Video on Chrome

For some people  there was an issue - which can be overcome by a simple change in CHROME Settings.

For some people - even that Settings change STILL does NOT work - so they are left STUCK ... even though they can still access Live Video on either Firefox or Internet Explorer.

There was an 'Update Flash Player'  prompt from Adobe the other day - However, that  applies to Internet Explorer and other Browser.

Mozilla FIREFOX has stopped supporting Plug-Ins for many 'Add Ons' - Flash Player being one  of them.
