So big Group races wins at Epsom today for low profile jockeys like James Sullivan and Paddy Beggy. Who was it always going on about that if the horse is good enough then the jockeys generally are too? No doubt if Beggy was on the 2nd and Moore on the winner, then you would get the old cliché of....
"Change the jockeys and you change the result!"
It's far more about the horses than the humans!
Oh and just out of interest, does this mean Aidan has mugged off Moore, as well as Ana and Donnacha too? When Ballydoyle go mob handed like that in a race like the Derby, it's usually because there's an strong horse from another yard in the field or like today, they genuinely don't always know which of theirs is best at this stage of the season.
I don't think they will be too upset though, now that they have just won the Derby sired by a Derby winner they also owned.

What's with all the carping -an honest pace was set , the fav came to win -couldn't do it , the 2nd fav came to win -couldn't hack it ...the winner made up huge ground with a powerful surge and won going away ...fair and square.

No rant p_r_e_m_i_e_r__f_a_n_t_a_s_y and merely a few observations.
As for those on about costing Galileo another Derby winner, the winner was sired by a Derby winner out of Galileo.

OK fair enough, I just thought from memory it was Galileo.
Either way Coolmore own/owned all of the sires of with bllodlines of Sadler's Wells, Galileo, Montjeu, Pour Moi and now today's winner and with Sadler's Wells and Montjeu gone, I don't think they will see Pour Moi producing a Derby winner as a negative. Plus Montjeu had plenty of success as a sire too and so his successful bloodlines can be continued.

Yeah but Coolmore have already written Pour Moi off as a flat sire, and moved him to their NH operation.
WOE is effectively a Derby winner by a NH sire-and is unlikely to have any appeal as a flat sire as a result.
